This case involves two Springfield police officers, Anthony Pioggia and Steven Tatro, threatening and coercing witnesses in order to falsely convict Charles. (Learn more about the case here.) The officers filed a Motion for Summary Judgment, which the judge denied after today’s hearing. The judge called the officers’ legal arguments “unpersuasive.” Read our response to their motion here.
