On April 22, 2014, in Federal Court in Springfield, Judge Michael A. Ponsor held a hearing on the parties’ motions for summary judgment in our case Baggett v. Ashe. Attorney David Milton spoke on behalf on the Plaintiffs, arguing that the Western Massachusetts Regional Women’s Correctional Center’s policy permitting male guards to videotape female prisoners during strip searches violates the Constitution as well as basic human dignity.
